Aaron White scores 6 in USA loss

Iowa junior Aaron White scored six points in seven minutes of action, but Team USA suffered a 93-84 setback to Australia in World University Games on Thursday.

Team USA (3-1) led by five points entering the fourth quarter, but the Aussies outscored the Americans 34-20 in the final period to take the win.

White also added a blocked shot. Doug McDermott led USA with 22 points.

The United States plays Canada on Friday before advancing to the medal round.
