Bill Aossey Jr. is not danger to society

To the editor:
Well, after five years of pestering and harassing Bill Aossey Jr. the feds have finally prosecuted him and found him guilty of mislabeling. Now he sits in jail waiting to be sentenced. Why? He's not a criminal, a danger to society or a flight risk.
I have worked for Bill, his sons and several Aossey family members in my 50 years of tree service in Cedar Rapids. All of whom are decent, hardworking people.
Bill should be allowed to take care of his business and conclude his affairs instead of being humiliated even further by sitting in jail.
