Decisions in Marion are perplexing

To the editor:
What is going on in Marion?
The proposal to tear down the beautiful library is hard to believe. Could they make an annex somewhere? Or, they could use the large space in front for an addition and move the doors?
The proposed roundabout at 29th Avenue and 35th Street would be a nightmare for all the school buses that go through 29th. In Prairie du Chien, Wis., they put roundabouts on the main street and people dislike them so much, they are going through residential areas, I've heard.
Are the leaders anxious to spend our tax dollars? Let's spend the money on streets and schools.
