Neville, Josephine C.
Josephine C. Neville, 95, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehab Center.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Anamosa. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, where a Scripture service will begin at 4p.m. Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Anamosa.

Surviving are her children, Carole(Ron) Friedmann of Leesburg, Fla.,and Michele Neville (Bob Clark) of Kettering, Ohio; a granddaughter, Rochele (Norm) Watters Kniess of Tampa, Fla.; two great-granddaughters, Krystal and Klea Watters Kniess, both of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Odellia Doden; and four sisters-in-law, Jean Neville, Maureen Knepper, Mary Lou Knepper and Mary Neville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry on Oct. 11, 2000; three sisters, Hilda McDermott, Monica Oyen and Marian Kerney; and four brothers, Ambrose Knepper, Francis Knepper, Cyril Knepper and Norbert Knepper.
Josephine C. Knepper was born Feb. 23, 1915, in Cascade, Iowa. She was the daughter of Joseph and Mae Leytem Knepper. Josephine was a 1932 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Cascade. Following high school, she attended the University of Dubuque where she graduated in 1938 and obtained her teaching certificate from the State of Iowa. On Sept. 9, 1942, Josephine and Harry J. Neville were united in marriage at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cascade. Josephine was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anamosa, and a member of Concord Rounds.She dedicated her married life to raise her daughters and being a homemaker.
