Mike and Mindy Cornwell of Cedar Rapids are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Keri Cornwell to Hayes Charles, son of John Charles of Hays, KS and Mandy Charles of Albert, KS.

Keri grew up in the Toddville and Alburnett area, graduated from Alburnett High School in 2005, and will be entering her senior year of nursing school at Mount Mercy University this fall, where she is studying to obtain her Bachelors of

Science in Nursing.

Hayes grew up in Hays, KS, graduated from Hays High School in 2005, and

graduated from Kansas State University in 2009 with a dual degree in Cereal

Chemistry & Milling Science. Hayes is the Milling Technical Manager for Iowa Corn Processors in Glidden, IA, where the

couple plans to reside following Keri's graduation in December.

Wedding events will take place Saturday, August 9th at Kenwood Park United

Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids, and the couple will honeymoon the following week in St. Lucia.
