Gorsh, Roberta 'Bert'

Roberta “Bert” Gorsh, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a sudden illness. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by her mother, Bernice Clarke; two daughters, Kendra (Steve) Hobart and Becky Gorsh; five grandchildren, Tressa, Aaron, Morgan, Jessika and Jasmine; great-granddaughter, Eva Jo; two brothers, Harold (Barb) Clarke and Robert (Glena) Clarke; and two sisters, Kathy (Vern) McMurray and Helen (Chuck) Marsh.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Clarke Sr.; and a brother, Randy Clarke.

Roberta was born Aug. 9, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of Robert and Bernice Clarke.

She was a loving mother and grandma who loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

As per Roberta's wishes there will be no funeral. There will be a celebration of life gathering at a later date. Watch her Facebook page for dates and times.
