Lane, Darrellene Kay Sivertsen
Darrellene Kay Sivertsen Lane, 68, died peacefully Aug. 28, 2010, at her Vinton home after a courageous 13-year battle with cancer. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton.
Darrellene is lovingly remembered by her husband, Tom; her daughters, Eva (Gary) Schlichting, Traer, and Donna Cook, Martindale, Texas; her parrot, CoCo; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Darrell (Kathy) Sivertsen of Traer, “Monk” Sivertsen of Shueyville and Kevin Rimrodt of Norfolk, Va.; two nieces; one nephew; and one special niece, June Sivertsen.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
