Wealthy should pay fair share of taxes

No mandate for the president? I would say 330-plus electoral votes plus winning eight of nine swing states (including Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Michigan) is a pretty good start.
Instead of analyzing who voted for re-election, we should analyze why. The stated purpose of Mitch McConnell for four years to limit the president to one term questions the purpose and dignity of his role in the U.S. Congress.
People are tired of this kind of government and also of Republican ideology from a 1930 textbook being used as a shield for wealthy Republicans not to pay their fair share of taxes.
Patriotism must be a cornerstone of any GOP platform, but apparently not to pay their fair share of taxes has nothing to do with defining one's patriotism.
The richest country in the world where some people have made a great deal of money (even during the Great Recession) should not have to be carried solely by the middle class. People are tired of hearing how God has anointed the GOP to lead the country.
Those of us out of the loop of righteousness would like some warm fuzzies from God.
