Father, daughter injured in crash near Springville

UPDATE: A father and daughter were injured Saturday when their vehicle rolled over just south of Springville Road on Highway 151.

Catherine H. Born, 20, of Berkeley, Calif., was driving northbound on Highway 151 near Springville Road at 3:18 p.m. Saturday when she lost control of her vehicle, which then overturned. She was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

Her father and passenger, Stephen C. Born, 56, also of Berkeley, was riding in the front seat. He was taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City for what were also described by officials as non-life threatening injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts, the sheriff's office said.

Conditions of Catherine and Stephen Born were not available from the hospitals.
