Romero, Henry S.
Henry S. Romero, 38, of West Liberty, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Church of the Nazarene in Iowa City. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for future use for his children.

Henry Saul Romero was born May 3, 1975, in Honduras, he came with family members to this area in 1991. Henry attended West Liberty Schools where he enjoyed football and wrestling. Following school he worked as a press operator for the Iowa City Press-Citizen and later Tidewater Publishing. Prior to a worked related accident in 2011, he had been employed by Media Com for over three years.
Henry was a family man, he loved being husband, dad, son, brother and friend to many. He had a laugh that was contagious, sometimes obnoxious; he was a computer geek, calling himself the “Henry Squad” when it came to anything with computers! He was loved by so many; he will be missed but never forgotten!
His family includes his wife, Maribel; their children, Joshua, Nelly and Victor, all at home in West Liberty; his mother, Judy Andino of West Liberty; his sister, Flavia Flores and her husband, Hector of West Liberty; his brother, Alvin of Honduras; and a host of other family and many friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his sister, Keli Oseguera.
Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City is caring for Henry's family and his services.
