Matteson, Michael Eugene
Michael Eugene Matteson, 65, passed away quietly at home surrounded by family August 6, 2010, after a prolonged illness. He was living in rural Soldiers Grove, Wis., formerly of Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Matteson; and children, James, Ithiel, Rachael, Flo, Ben, Beth, Sam, Asher, Hannah, Isaac, Eunice, Rebekah, Michael A, Rei, Justice and Ivy.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Finn; father, Ivan Matteson; son, Matthew; and grandmother, Emma Thomas.
His greatest joy and accomplishment in life was his family. He was a fine furniture craftsman by profession and a man of good spirit. He will be greatly missed by many.
