Kennedy students to share Japan trip live from Tokyo

A group of Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School students in Japan as part of an exchange program will discuss their trip live from Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday on TheGazette.com.
The students are enrolled in Japanese language classes at Kennedy and have been in Japan the last two weeks along with their teacher, Dan Carolin.
The Cedar Rapids teenagers have been learning about Japanese culture, brushing up on their language and volunteering in parts of Fukushima still recovering from the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.
