No one hurt in Marion house fire
No one was injured in a Marion house fire late Thursday night.
Firefighters responded to a call of a house fire at 2430 17th Ave. in Marion around 11 p.m. Thursday to find a front side room and its contents in flames.They were able to extinguish the flames immediately, Marion fire chief Terry Jackson said.
The occupants of the house were already outside when firefighters arrived. Firefighters rescued several pets from the house.
Fire damage was confined to one room, but some smoke damage spread through the house.
