The man who robbed a Cedar Rapids bank Thursday remains on the loose, but detectives are following a few leads.
Police said a man walked into Wells Fargo Bank, 3570 First Ave. NE, around 2 p.m. Thursday and demanded money. He did not display a weapon but got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured in the hold-up.
Police units circled the neighborhood, talked with neighbors and stopped at least one vehicle in the area.
Surveillance images showing a white male wearing a coat with the hood up and sunglasses was released to the media. Officer Melissa Henderson said a few tips have come in from people who claim to know the suspect, but so far, no arrests have been made.
An investigation is continuing, police said.
