McNabb, Mary M.
Mary M. McNabb, 63, of Iowa City, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Church of the Nazarene in Iowa City. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service.
Mary worked for over 38 years at Mercy Hospital before retiring; she continued there as a volunteer. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Eagles Club and Eagle Riders. She was a bona fide clown who enjoyed clowning for children of all ages! She also enjoyed bowling for years, on a league for many of them.
Her family includes her son, Joe; two brothers, Dan (Marilyn) Morgan and William (Mary) Morgan; a sister, Juanita Caudill; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Mark Tappan.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, half brother, and a child at birth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary's memory.
