Acciona to supply 126 turbines for new Montana wind farm

NaturEner USA has awarded ACCIONA Windpower a contract for 126 wind turbines to be manufactured at its West Branch facility.
The contract also includes the construction, assembly, and a seven-year contract for maintenance and operation of NaturEner's planned Rim Rock wind park in Montana.
The wind turbines will have a generating capacity of 1.5 megawatts and a rotor diameter of 77 meters, according to a statement released by ACCIONA on Thursday, Jan. 12.
ACCIONA has previously worked with NaturEner to supply 210 megawatts of wind power for the Glacier Wind I and Glacier Wind II wind parks in Montana.
