Obama isn't qualified to be president
The Gazette Opinion Staff

President Barack Obama should resign. He said he can't guarantee Social Security payments in August (if budget deal isn't reached in Congress). A president who lacks the integrity to honor the commitments of the United States to its senior citizens does not deserve to hold the office. His performance shows that he isn't qualified to be president.
President Obama may have inherited a weak economy but he has made it worse. Under his administration:
He promised employment - unemployment has risen by 25 percent on his watch, underemployment is much higher.
Obama borrowed trillions of dollars, increasing our debt by 25 percent for no benefit, and your children and grandchildren will have to pay it back.
Gas has increased 100 percent in the last year. His policies restrict American oil and gas exploration, sending jobs and your money overseas. High energy costs drive high food prices and kill jobs.
Obama said he would be the president of red states and blue states but instead he has been a partisan, mean-spirited president. Last week, he chided the GOP for standing up to him to cut wasteful spending and then he flew off in Air Force One to attend campaign fund raisers. Can you say hypocrite?
Let's make sure Obama is a one-term president so we can have a president who represents all of us and isn't a campaigner-in-chief!
