Mediacom, Iowa State Athletics announce partnership

Mediacom is adding Cyclones sports programming to its channel list, the company and Iowa State Athletics Department announced on Wednesday.
Through the partnership, Cyclones.tv produced programming will be available to Mediacom's Digital Family cable subscribers. The channel, MC22, is set to go live December 9 at 1 p.m. as the Cyclone women's basketball team host Fairfield and at 6 p.m. when the men play against the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
“The Big 12 Conference has given individual schools the ability to distribute their third-tier television rights and we are capitalizing on an opportunity that is unique to our conference,” Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard said.
