Kernels open home schedule tonight

After opening the Midwest League season with three games in Peoria, Ill., the Kernels return to Cedar Rapids for their home opener against Wisconsin. Tonight's game, the first of four in this series, starts at 6:35 p.m.

The Kernels are back on the road Friday, traveling to Beloit for three games and Clinton for three, before returning to Veterans Memorial Stadium on April 21.
