NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The University of Northern Iowa men's basketball snapped Stephen F. Austin's 34-game home winning streak Tuesday morning with a 79-77 overtime win during ESPN's 'College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon.”
Six Panthers scored in double-figures, led by senior Marvin Singleton's career-high 15 points. Former Iowa City West prep Wyatt Lohaus came off the bench and scored 11 points on 4 of 9 shooting, and ex-Cedar Rapids Washington standout Wes Wasphun also scored 11 points, hitting 5 of 7 field goals.
Deon Mitchell chipped in with 14 and Seth Tuttle scored 13 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
