Donald Trump makes some sense

To the editor:
Donald Trump is not only a successful businessman, but he is bringing forth most of the ideas and needs of the majority of middle class voters and nonvoters want to have on the agenda.
While he might go a little overboard with his delivery (which the media is pulling for) he is on target and makes more sense than all the other Republican candidates. We don't want another candidate trying to convince us that they have an I.Q. number larger than their waist size.
When only 51 percent of eligible voters turn out for a major election, maybe Trump's actions will encourage the lazy and uniformed to get off their rears and do their civic duty. The only remaining problem in Washington D.C., like Cedar Rapids and our state government, is that all the majority Republicans are against anything and everything that benefits the middle class and only cater to their wealthy lobbyist and their donors.
