If you or a loved one has mental health needs, you are not alone. Millions are affected. There is help, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. The group has been around since 1979. They can relate.
The first week of October is traditionally Mental Illness Awareness week. Locally, there is always a forum highlighting the time and subject. Mental health (the lived experience) is one of the most difficult things that can happen to the human condition.
But there is hope. Things can and do improve. So hang in there and know you're not alone.
