Iowa City VA is a stellar institution

It is time to stop bashing the Veterans Health Administration, the best health care system in the world.
The scandal revealed in Arizona has created slanderous disingenuous propaganda from individuals swept up in a media frenzy infecting all government hospitals.
Facts are the last to surface and exhibit the issues that facilitated situations.
The onus is on Congress who has never adequately funded this vital agency and only recently created a cabinet-level position to sincerely have veterans concerns on the national agenda.
Since day one measures have been taken to ensure redundant foresight and address any future egregious inconsistencies.
It is not the name VA, rather a few employees who are dishonest, greedy and criminal who have found ways to cheat at the expense of those who fought for their freedom.
The Iowa City VA Health Care System has been/is free of any malice and a stellar institution having served by grandfather (World War I), father (World War II) and myself (Vietnam era).
