Letter: Opponents to gun laws insulting Iowans

Most of the proposed changes in Iowa's firearms laws are already in place in many states across the nation.
None of them have seen the type of mass shootings (with some exceptions in so-called 'gun free zones”) that these opponents say will happen if these changes in law take place.
They apparently view Iowans as being much more violent than the rest of the country and I find this insulting to the good citizens of this state.
