According to a police report, Redonda F. Roundtree, 48, claimed a vehicle struck her as it accidentally drove through a fence. Police said Roundtree told officers that the tires ran over her right leg.
Police said Roundtree had no visible signs of injury, only complaints of severe and extreme pain that she “adequately” provided.
Officers said Multiple witnesses, aside from Roundtree's intoxicated friends, stated that she was not stuck by anything during the accident. Police said they were also told that Roundtree acted normally until she discovered the vehicle had valid insurance.
Officers reported that Roundtree admitted to drinking all day. Her preliminary breath test documented her at a blood-alcohol concentration of .334, according to police.
