Letter: Reader not a fan of Coe College mural

I can't believe that someone hasn't commented on the abstract mural painted on the concrete retaining wall behind the Coe College gym along Coe Road in northeast Cedar Rapids.
They must have had a sale on blue paint. I can make out steps and a window among the odd shapes and designs. What a waste of time, talent and paint. Come on, folks. How about a change of subject and color?
May I suggest that the artist/artists paint a more historical reflection of Coe, the city or nature. Otherwise, how about a nice coat of dark gray paint; I bet if you hurry the paint sale will still be on.
