Hawkeyes showed blood, sweat, tears

To the editor:
Blood, sweat, tears, slam dunking and hard work are over for the season. The Iowa men's teams did their best for us. It seems they played more games than fit on a schedule. Practice, practice and more practice. Grueling! It's hard to understand they're students hoping to graduate. Maybe it's a 24-hour clock and work gets done after midnight.
The emotions for the season ran the gauntlet. It was a race to the end and the team with the most points won. Winter is over and the season is over. And, there is always next year.
