Marty Brick, 62, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Living Center West.
Marty was born on Feb. 25, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Thomas and Doris (Countryman) Brick. Marty graduated from Tipton High School in 1977. He was an avid Cubs fan and was a very kind man that was always helping others in need. At Christmas time, he enjoyed picking a name off the angel tree.
He is survived by brother, Marvin (Karen) Brick of West Branch, Iowa; sister, Marlene (Charles) Gann of Lamar, Okla.; nephews, Darrall (Nicki) Brick and Gerry (Leslie) Brick of West Branch; nieces, Lu Ann Miles of Tiffin, Iowa, Tonya (Scott) Olivo of Holdenville, Okla., Lisa (Leon) West of Moore, Okla., Stacy (Tim) McMullen, Shawnee, Okla., and Stephanie (Clint) Garrett, Moore, Okla.; and many great-nieces and -nephews. He is also survived by a special friend Sheryl Craddock.
Marty was preceded in death by his parents.
At Marty's request, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
