Norma L. Glew, 91, formerly of Maynard and Oelwein, Iowa, died on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon, with her family at her side.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Thursday,
May 6, at Christ United Presbyterian Church, Oelwein.
Visitation: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment: Long Grove Cemetery, Maynard.
Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, is assisting the family. A Memorial Fund has been established.

Norma Lavon Gilley was born July 22, 1929, the daughter of Floyd and Edith (Brause) Gilley. Norma was united in marriage to Delbert Leroy Glew on March 9, 1947, at the First Presbyterian Church in Maynard. Norma was a member of Christ United Presbyterian Church in Oelwein.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Bonnie Peacock (Paul Smalley) of Vinton, Peggy Chensvold of Marion and Julie (Bill) Kester of Walker; her 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, all whom she dearly loved; and two sisters-in-law, Charlotte Glew of Maynard and Dorothy Glew of Ackley.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Charles, on June 24, 2002; sister, Marjorie Rouleau; and her son-in-law, Pat Peacock.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of The Gardens and the Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon for the excellent care that Norma received while in their care.
