VIDEO: Flames engulf Urbana home
Fire crews responded to an Urbana home engulfed in flames shortly before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The home, located at 6060Hope Ave. sustained extensive damage. Urbana Fire Chief Trent Kramer said they do not know what caused the blaze.
No one was home at the time of the fire. Firefighters were able to save three cats.
Homeowner Denise McCarthy was on her way home from work when she got the call her house was on fire. She said she was grateful they were able to save her cats.
