Kirkwood baseball 'homecoming' is Saturday

Between 30 and 40 Kirkwood Community College baseball alumni are expected to participate in a "homecoming scrimmage" at the school Saturday.
The players will conduct a home-run derby followed by a scrimmage game at 2 p.m. at the Kirkwood field. It is being done in part to celebrate longtime Eagles Coach John Lewis' 1,000th victory last year.
Lewis will enter his 30th season at Kirkwood this coming spring.
