Letter: Knowledge of Constitution is crucial
Laddie D. Oliver
May. 9, 2016 1:00 am
The Constitution is the life blood of our United States. It must be mandatory for each state to return to a curriculum of government and the U.S. Constitution as an educational requirement for intelligent citizen voting and for the survival of these states united.
I cite evidence of need: The innuendoes of the Republican presidential candidate debates with little mention of issues and platforms. The trashing of some Constitutional laws by one Democrat and one Independent candidate for president. Where are the candidates and their platforms for the U.S. Congress, state officials and local representatives? Where is enforcement for oath to support Constitution, impeach and expel rebels upon conviction? Where is enforcement of laws, Article V, 2nd and 9th Amendments and others of which citizens may not be knowledgeable?
