Predictions from across America on Michigan State-Michigan
Mike Hlas Oct. 8, 2010 10:24 pm
There's no Iowa game. But Saturday's Michigan State-Michigan game is of great interest to the Hawkeyes and their fans.
So what do to the pundits say? Pundits. That's a funny word.
As you can see, everyone expects a tight, high-scoring game, and there certainly is no consensus on the winner.
Tony Barnhart, Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Michigan 38-35.
John Tamanaha, NBCsports.com: Michigan State 32-31. His key: 15-play drives for the Spartans.
Phil Steele, philsteele.com: Michigan 38-31.
Adam Rittenberg, ESPN.com: Michigan State 37-35. Says Adam: Spartans quarterback Kirk Cousins continues his second-half brilliance and fires a pair of touchdown passes. Cousins also drives Michigan State in the closing minutes, setting up a game-winning Dan Conroy field goal.
Jon Wilner, San Jose Mercury News: Michigan.
Matt Hayes, The Sporting News: Michigan State 33-30.
Scott Michaux, Augusta Chronicle: Michigan 38-35.
Tom Izzo, Michigan State men's basketball coach: “I have to predict we're going to win, that's just the way it works,” Izzo said with a laugh.
