Letter: Politicians should cut spending, taxes
Gary J. Waterbeck
Aug. 27, 2016 1:00 am
To me, all the hoopla by politicians about raising the minimum wage is an admission that their economic policies have failed. Now they want government to come to the rescue and force private businesses to raise the wages of entry-level jobs - just another backdoor attempt to buy votes.
If the politicians want to help people, try cutting government spending and cut our taxes, then everyone would 'get a raise.”
