9/11 story

By Kyle Brophy: I remember I was at home, getting ready for school, and saw the first plane hit the tower on my TV, but I thought it was just an ordinary fire or just a dumb pilot making a big mistake.

But then at school the principal came running into my class, and she was crying. "The second tower got hit. We are under attack!" So my teacher turned on the TV, and we just watched it the whole morning.

When the first tower went down, I started crying, just thinking of those poor people, and then the second tower went down. I got very emotional to the point where I had to vomit.

It was the most horrific sight, but then the Pentagon got hit, and I saw everybody getting carried out on stretchers and people crying, gasping for air.

It was the worst day in history, and every year I can't forget the day America stood still.
