Noggle, Doris
Doris Noggle, 85, of Dubuque, died Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Dubuque Nursing and Rehab Center. Services: 1 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will meet friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at the funeral home. Entombment: Linwood Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her brother, Norman (Jean) Noggle of Vinton; niece, Beth Noggle of Dubuque; nephews, Leon Noggle of Cedar Rapids and Dustin (April) Coughenour of Sterling, Ill.; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan, Dustin and Makenzie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth Noggle, Lyle Noggle, Lloyd Noggle and Melvin Noggle; and sister, Anita Coughenour.
Doris was born July 16, 1926, in Elkport, Iowa, daughter of John C. and Blanche (Marlette) Noggle. She worked as a bartender at the Silver Dollar and E Ave Tap in Cedar Rapids in her younger years.
