Wisconsin rallies late to beat Kernels

APPLETON, Wis. - Wisconsin scored three runs on a two-out rally in the eighth inning to break a tie and defeat Cedar Rapids, 4-1, in Midwest League baseball Tuesday night at Fox Cities Stadium.
With two outs and one runner on, Wisconsin came up with four successive hits (single, triple, single, double) against reliever Caleb Graham (1-1).
Graham allowed five hits and three earned runs in 1 2/3 innings for the loss.
The teams had traded runs in the second inning, Cedar Rapids on a Ricky Alvarez homer run and Wisconsin on a Franklin Romero RBI single.
The teams play again Wednesday night at 6:35 (KMRY-AM, 1450).
