Win By KO Promotions is holding a Pro-Am Boxing and Muay Thai event May 1 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. The event is set to begin at 6 p.m. General Admission seats are $25 with ringside seating $50.
Four pro fights are on the card feature local women boxing sensations Emily and Katy Klinefelter.

Chris Weitz, a former Muay Thai amateur national champion, will test the waters in a pro boxing bout. ICOR's Dan Almeida and Iowa City's Nick Quangvang will compete in a pro bout. Both are Mixed Martial Arts veterans.

A Pro-Am Boxing and Muay Thai event will be held at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, C building, 4261 Oak Crest Hill Road SE, Iowa City, 52246, on May 1, 2010 at 6 p.m.
Iowa City/Coralville (ICOR) boxers Emily and Katy Klinefelter, both former national amateur champions and currently undefeated at 6-0 and 4-0 as professional boxers, will each be featured in 6-round bouts against the tough and durable Kerri “the Rage” Hill and Lucretia “No Pain” Meacham.
ICOR's Chris Weitz, a former national amateur muay thai champion and professional muay thai veteran, will be trying pro boxing for the first time.
Two MMA veterans will put their stand-up skills to the test when ICOR's Dan “the Man of War” Almeida faces Iowa City's Nick “Bang Bang” Quangvang in a pro boxing bout.
Several amateur muay thai bouts will open the show, featuring ICOR fighters Chris Lane, Jay Dinsdale, Damien Roth, and UI Track athlete Cody Mixon.
The card is also scheduled to include special feature bouts with top talented pro boxing prospects in 10-0 Terrance Crawford, the former national PAL champion, 3-0 J. Leon Love, who won several national amateur championships, 2-0 Michael Finney, also a former national amateur champion, rising 5-1 heavyweight Eno “the Nigerian Gentleman” Umohette, as well as former regional Junior Olympic champion lightweight Anthony Linenfelser.
