Jake Christensen competing for time at Eastern Illinois

Ex-Iowa quarterback Jake Christensen, who started 13 straight games at Iowa before transferring this summer, is listed as the back-up to senior Bodie Reeder at Eastern Illinois University.
Reeder played in all but four snaps for Eastern Illinois last year. Reeder completed 62.5 percent of his passes last year for 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Christensen, a fifth-year senior, started two games last fall at Iowa and ended his tenure with 14 starts.
Former Iowa kicker Austin Signor also participated in the scrimmage.
