Gettemy financial experience will help U.S.

Voters in the June 8 Republican primary have the chance to select a committed conservative as their nominee for the 2nd Congressional District. I believe that choice should be Rob Gettemy.

Gettemy decided to run for Congress after seeing what is happening in this country and knew that he could not sit on the sidelines. He is the only candidate who can beat Dave Loebsack in November.

As a successful entrepreneur, Gettemy knows how to balance a budget. He has met a payroll and understands the effect of high taxes and burdensome regulations on business.

He has taken this real-world experience to the classroom as a teacher of entrepreneurship and business innovation at the University of Iowa.

Gettemy is willing to put his life on hold to run for office because he knows that it is vitally important to return this nation back to the values that will benefit our children and grandchildren.
