Peter Feldstein is to be commended

Peter Feldstein, photographer and co-author of “The Oxford Project,” is to be highly commended for his “tell it like it is” column (“Bloom did not speak for all of us,” Jan. 4) in which he flat out stated he wished Stephen Bloom's name was not associated with that excellent photojournalistic book of 2008.
Perhaps the most clearly demonstrated refutation to Bloom's nonsense since it was published in The Atlantic online, Feldstein's words show him to be of the highest journalistic integrity and speak volumes of his personal character by his willingness to so publicly and unequivocally dissociate himself from his co-author, Bloom.
“The Oxford Project” will remain one of my favorites and keep its preeminent spot on my bookshelf. Feldstein and the people and past residents of Oxford deserve it.
