Mallard Fillmore comic has truths to offer

I frequently read the letters to the editor and I did notice the one in the Feb. 16 issue written by Kathleen R. Moore: “Do us a favor and get rid of Mallard Fillmore comic.”
So you, Moore, do not like Millard Fillmore. Well, I for one, never miss it.
I appreciate his humor and his comment on the way life is here in these present United States.
Yes, sometimes the comic seems to be mean or nasty, but I find quite a bit of truth in the comments that are made.
Look at the Feb. 17 comic and see in his eyes the George Washington we should recognize when we compare him to our present president, who operates with his executive powers as if he thinks himself better than the King George of England, who was in disagreement with Washington.
