Coralville man pleads not guilty to sexual abuse

A Coraville man has pleaded not guilty to a third degree-sexual abuse charge in Johnson County District Court.
Kenneth D. Shearon II, 26, entered his written plea Thursday. He is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl. Police said the relationship started in January and continued until April.
Third-degree sexual abuse is a Class C felony punishable by a maximum $10,000 fine and a 10-year prison sentence.
