Letter: Grassley is making a reasonable decision

Sen. Chuck Grassley and the GOP holding up an appointee for the Supreme Court by President Barack Obama is reasonable. The Supreme Court has a liberal bias that tends to 'legislate from the bench and create law” rather than 'interpret” law as laid out by the Constitution.
The late Antonin Scalia didn't like this situation and a majority of people want to change this. So the appointment of a Supreme Court judge for the replacement is important.
With the election of a new president of the United States later this year, maybe the people will have more of a say in the direction of the court with a new president regardless of party affiliation. Democrats are forgetting all their efforts in the past of tying up Supreme Court nominations for their party interests.
