The rape and burglary trial of Bruce Braggs, 33, of Cedar Rapids, continues today in Linn County District Court. The prosecution may rest later today and the defense will start its case.
Braggs, charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree sexual abuse, is accused of breaking into the Kirkwood Court Apartments June 3, 2007 and sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman.
The alleged victim testified Tuesday she was raped three times by a man matching Braggs' description. She didn't see him because his face was covered during the rape and he also covered her head with a blanket.
Braggs claims he didn't do it.
