What will it take to end abortion?
The Gazette Opinion Staff

President Barack Obama was in office four days when he reversed the Mexico City Policy, which kept abortion out of foreign aid. With his reversal, abortion services are now included. Under his presidency, the United States is funding the United Nations Population Fund, which reportedly promotes China's forced abortion and one-child policy. He took federal funding away from a charity that did not conform with his abortion agenda. During the health care debate we were told that abortion would not be included. However, he succeeded in including abortion services options in his ObamaCare.
I could never understand how the Germans could stand by and do nothing as 6 million of their citizens were killed. We not only stand by, we vote to keep the killing legal. The abortion industry reports it has performed more than 53 million abortions since 1973. How many of our children, created in God's image and likeness, with immortal souls, will end up in the garbage before we vote to stop the killing?
It is a contradiction to profess to be pro-life and then vote to keep the killing legal. How long will a just God continue to bless this nation?
