More gun laws won't help

Regarding the gun debate: All I hear is ban guns and fix mental health. We have a whole generation of children and young adults who have grown up on violence on TV and in the movies and video games. I think these young people have become desensitized to killing and seeing people blown away. It would take a long time to change that if the (media) violence was stopped right now.
I also believe gangs should be banned. That's where a lot of killings and illegal drugs come from.
Prohibition didn't work in the 1920s and I don't think more gun laws will either.
