Letter: Whitehead will focus on solutions

Voters in House District 95 have the opportunity to elect Richard Whitehead to represent them.

I met Whitehead 11 years ago as we served as educators in the corridor. During the time I have known him, I have been impressed by three things. First, his focus on doing what is best for children. His career in education spans several decades, but he never lost sight of keeping our youth's best interest in mind. Second, his ability to work with people. He has worked with others to identify common values and then cultivated finding solutions that would benefit the community as well as its children. Third, his capability of following through on his commitments. He is professional, organized and can be trusted to do what he says he is going to do.

I am confident Whitehead would put his experience and talents toward strengthening our state's economy and preparing our students' for their futures.
