THOMAS JEAN HUTCHCROFT
Montgomery, Texas
Thomas Jean Hutchcroft, 78, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away April 15, 2021. He was born at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended Regis High School in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. He had
two children with his first wife, Sandra (Krejei) Hutchcroft. He married Susan Stoddard in Denver, Colo., on May 21, 1983. They moved to Rockville, Md., and then to Plano, Texas. He was in marketing and product management and retired to Montgomery, Texas, in 2015. He enjoyed living in the Bentwater community and spent many hours on the back patio. He loved grilling in the outdoor kitchen and playing golf with friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Marion Hutchcroft; and brother-in-law, Doug Bennetts.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Hutchcroft; children, Kathy (Chris) Johnson and Corey (Laura) Hutchcroft; siblings, Gerald Hutchcroft and Mary Jo Bennetts Small; brother-in-law, Jim Stoddard; grandchildren, Hannah Johnson, Henry Johnson, Luke Johnson, Jack Johnson, Kiely Hutchcroft, Josie Hutchcroft, Haley Hutchcroft, Paige Hutchcroft and Paul Hutchcroft.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research.
