I write in enthusiastic support of Pat Heiden for Johnson County Supervisor. I have known Pat for nearly 20 years, and was fortunate to work under her leadership at Oaknoll Retirement Residence and develop a true friendship.
Pat is a very skillful listener. She is able to hear all sides of an issue before making thoughtful and reasonable decisions. While she is a strong advocate, Pat is not intimidating or aggressive. She can work with anyone and negotiate compromise in any situation.
I have always found Pat to be an excellent communicator who believes in transparency and engaging all team members. She is consistent in her leadership and rallies those around her to develop a common vision.
You need only look at her 37 year career at Oaknoll to know Pat understands loyalty and commitment. She is a long time resident of Iowa City devoted to seeing the Johnson County community thrive.
I'm voting for Pat Heiden in the June 5 Democratic Primary to be a Johnson County Supervisor. I hope other Johnson County residents will do the same.
